My History
Derek began his career working as a Project Manager on high rise construction projects in Las Vegas, NV and Portland, OR. In 2011 he moved back to Albuquerque to work for Tierra West as a project manager. During this time he also founded and continues to run Volo Pervidi LLC, a remote sensing company specializing in data collection for mapping, surveying, and engineering project design. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico’s Civil Engineering program in 2022 with a concentration in Environmental Engineering. Derek went on to complete his Masters of Engineering through the same department with a focus in Water Resources. Derek is currently working to obtain his PE license as he works as an EIT for Tierra West LLC. Derek’ previous community and professional involvement includes but is not limited to;
